Lenten Opportunities
Sundays in Lent Rev. Tommy Williams will be preaching on the Journey of Jesus to the cross through the eyes of the Gospel of John.
Lenten Bible Study - Rev. Williams will be teaching a companion Bible study on The Gospel of John on Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. beginning February 10 in the Fellowship Hall.
Palm Sunday, March 16 - We celebrate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem on that last week of his life. We wave palm branches and hear special music from the choir, handbells and brass instruments.
Maundy Thursday, March 20 in the Chapel - We celebrate Holy Communion together and remember the last supper Jesus shared with his disciples. Special music.
Good Friday, March 21, 6 p.m. in the Chapel - We read the Biblical story of Jesus' trial and death and start a time of prayer leading up to Easter.
Easter Egg Hunt for Children after Worship on Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday, March 23, we gather at 7:00 a.m. for Easter Sunrise Service offsite and for Easter Worship in the Sanctuary with special music from the adult choir at 10:50 a.m.
*Lenten devotionals will also be available in the foyer of the sanctuary free to all.
